    Subtitution

You can substitute the oil for the same amount of applesauce. The bread will be just as moist and much better for the Eeks! *grin*

I made this recipe a few days ago, and Tof loved it! I did a quarter of them as mini muffins, another quarter as regular sized muffins (quartered to discourage birdish gluttony), and the rest in a bread pan just to vary the size and shapes. Thanks for the muffin cups idea, dannick! :) Oh, and I substituted applesauce for the oil, thanks to Tarsa13's suggestion. I tasted the bread to entice to Tof, and I was surprised to find it very yummy! So to whoever makes these next, don't add the eggshell or you'll be sorry you did! ;)

Please watch the wrappers though to make sure that your bird doesn't ingest any of it since it is covered with the pumpkin bread ok. I'd hate to see anyone's birds get sick.

Good point! I checked after he ate his first one, and it looked like he was easily able to distinguish between the two since he shredded the paper to pieces. :)
