my cats loosing his teeth..

:crying: i was petting my cat and i felt one of his teeth on my hand. so i checked his mouth (which he did not like) and i noticed one of this k-9 teeth is all yellow. and very loose like its going to fall out. he is almost 12yrs old, and i know he has some plaque from when he was in the hosital last yr. so i been giving him tatar control cat treats. will he still beable to eat if it falls out? he is still eating and dosent seem bothered by it. so should i just let him be?

One of my cats is completely blind and also toothless... she has no trouble eating or getting around (as long as I don't move any piece of furniture). I feed her regular cat food... both moist and dry and she eats everything that I put in front of her. She does barf up some of the food more than normal, but that is probably because she swallows larger pieces than she should have. You may want to stick with all moist food... even the softer hard variety.
