The other nite my daughter was cooking pizza in the oven. She accidentally didn't see a plastic spatula that was in a pan that was left in the oven. well part of the spatula melted filling the Kitchen up with burnt plastic smoke smell! we immediately turned on fans, opened doors and windows in the kitchen to get the fumes out.
Well Bailey's cage sits in our family room adjacent to the kitchen, he was covered with a sheet but I'm still concerned about the effect this "might" have had on him. I immediately moved him into another room of the house and closed the door and covered him with a heavier cover over his cage. He seems so far to be fine.
